Shakespeare & Co. is delighted to host a reading and discussion with Montana author Thomas Craeg on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 7:00 pm. Craeg will read from his debut novel Sword in the Heart (Swan River Press, 2026). This event is free and open to the public.
About Sword in the Heart:
FBI Agent Greg Wesson leads a team of federal agents, military experts and local investigators pursuing a group assassinating American oligarchs. Along the way, he finds himself admiring the killers. Their victims are people Wesson has tried and failed for years to put in prison, including the one who murdered his wife.
Author Biography:
Craig Thomas Naylor lives near Kalispell, Montana, where he writes poetry and articles, composes music, teaches Aikido, and tends an orchard of mostly antique apple varieties planted on land homesteaded by his wife’s great-grandparents. His first novel, Sword in the Heart, published under his pen name, Thomas Craeg, is available on Amazon and an ever-widening selection of local bookstores throughout Montana. Other publications include Montana Senior News, Whitefish Review, and an upcoming issue of Sensations Magazine. He is a critique reader for Whitefish Review. He has been accepted to the prestigious Elk River Writers Workshop in the fall of 2026.
From 2020-2025 Craig was President of Authors of the Flathead, a collective of writers in NW Montana, and currently serves as past-president. He coordinated the annual Flathead River Writers Conference from 2020-2024. He currently is co-coordinator of the annual Student Writing Competition.
