About The No Apologies Writers:

Meeting monthly since 2008, most of the writers in our group found each other in writing classes at MOLLI—the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University. As we share what we’ve written, without apologies—whether poetry, short story, or creative non-fiction—we discuss what works and what doesn’t.

Our group provides inspiration and discipline as we defend, acquiesce, and emerge from the process with stronger pieces. We feel extremely lucky to have come together and to have learned to trust each other and ourselves, as writers and friends. Periodically, we share some of our works with friends, colleagues, and customers of Shakespeare & Co.
