Tuesday, July 8th: Poetry: Zachary Schomburg reads from his new collection, The Book of Joshua  with Mathias Svalina and Alicia Mountain. 7pm

Zachary Schomburg is the author of four books of poems including, most recently, The Book of Joshua (Black Ocean). He is the co-editor of Octopus Books and co-curator of Bad Blood Reading Series. He lives in Portland, OR. 

Alicia Mountain is a scholar and poet in the MFA program at the University of Montana.  Her work has appeared in Witness Magazine and on the podcast Story Tapes.  She is the recent recipient of an Academy of American Poets prize.  Alicia Mountain is also an anagram for "I caution animal." 

Mathias Svalina is the author of three books, most recently The Explosions from Subito Press. Big Lucks will release his book Wastoid this Fall. He is a co-editor for Octopus Books & teaches writing at universities, community centers & prisons in Denver.
